Buie Fox

Buie’s fascination with architecture’s ability to evoke a deep sense of place led him attend Tulane University in New Orleans where he earned his Master’s Degree in Architecture. While attending school, he engaged in strategies for sustainable redevelopment and urban recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina. He’s especially interested in how one might deconstruct architecture/landscape dualism in favor of a culture that understand itself to be a necessarily integrated with nature rather than opposed to it. When not studying the intersection of architecture and landscape, Buie enjoys playing in the outdoors and cooking spicy food.
