Flawlessly maintaining the integrity of the original exterior and simultaneously renovating the interiors, Forum Phi updated this historic cabin built in 1880. Traditional materials were given a new life, providing a perfect representation of old meets new. Extending the floor plan and adding more square footage for entertaining were key factors behind the design of this home. Every space was utilized in order to create additional room for finite details, including custom millwork and cabinetry. In addition, the basement of the home was made into a media room, guest suite and bunk room for visitors. Forum Phi designed special features to help open up the space including a glass tread stair and light coves.
