Ryan Walterscheid, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, a Partner at Forum Phi joined the firm in 2015. He has extensive experience in the management and development of commercial, hospitality and residential projects. After earning his Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University, Ryan worked for an architecture firm where he quickly developed a knowledge in commercial planning becoming the firm’s lead designer in the field. Soon thereafter, Ryan expanded his expertise in luxury hospitality and residential design in Aspen working with noteworthy designers throughout the area. Having completed a multitude of iconic projects, Ryan combines creativity with sustainable solutions to help clients execute their vision.

A highly effective project director with excellent facilitation and organization skills, Ryan is focused on making sure all projects are running smoothly at Forum Phi. Serving as a mentor to all of our architects and project managers, he is always there to answer questions. He is an extremely meticulous leader in all aspects, implementing standards including a rigorous six phase quality control process to ensure all projects are consistent and of the highest caliber. Also, an active representative of the Aspen community, Walterscheid serves on the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission and is a member of the Aspen Institute Society of Fellows as well as the Aspen Elks Lodge.
