Senior Interior Designer
12+ Years of Industry ExperienceSummary
The Senior Interior Designer will provide the interiors department style and design direction, specifically FF&E/A. They will lead quality assurance and quality control on all items regarding FF&E/A. The Senior Interior Designer will provide mentorship, resources, and knowledge to achieve a cohesive aesthetic that we are all proud to represent.
They will develop and implement interiors standards to create a smooth and standardized process. They are also responsible for project budget management and cost control.

Design & Documentation:
- Lead Interior Design concept presentation content, including material, renderings, imagery and concept visuals, and related graphic materials
- Work with clients to establish/determine furniture budgets and track budget through the life of the project
- Mentor and train team on luxury products while introducing new vendor lines. Conduct FF&A “taste” courses for the team.
- Make sure the library reflects our tastes and has appropriate materials in coordination with purchasing. Work with Procurement Manager to organize and display current and new interiors library spaces.
- Work closely with Procurement Manager to establish milestones and deadlines
- Ensure POs for furniture vendors are issued
- Oversee installs so they are successful and executed accordingly
- Be present and involved with installation and likely photography
- Manage teams’ “sales” approach to clients
- Work with Creative Director on design collaboration and design inspiration during the initial stages of the project—initial client meetings when possible
- Depending on the phase the project is in currently or when our team comes on board, step in early in the project to assist/direct style, aesthetic, and spacing
- Should be copied on project emails to be kept in the loop during the design/documentation process
- Will meet with new vendors and introduce new vendor lines to the team
- Be in client meetings as early as possible to help ascertain the client style and drive it forward
- Design reviews and QCs on the ID document sets
- With the Project Manager, create the initial FFE/FFA concept package and present to client with PM (STAGE I FFA)
- Prepare or guide client presentations
- Develop the second round of selections and preliminary budget for the client for selections and approvals (STAGE II FFA)
- VE the selections and put together the final presentation and budget with actual selections and pricing (STAGE III FFA)
- Hand package to Procurement Manger for entry into Studio Webware, production of final PE, approval by the client, draw request and receipt, processing of PO’s, tracking, and follow up
